Rochester Mayor’s husband Lovely Warren is in custody after police officers issued a search warrant to their home.
Warren’s husband, Timothy Granison, was the subject of a criminal investigation and was arrested by law enforcement officials, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.

The soldiers carried out a search warrant in the Democratic home as part of an “ongoing criminal investigation,” said New York State Police in a brief press release.
No other information was provided by law enforcement officers.
Granison had previously served five years probation due to his role in an armed jewelry heist in 1997.

“The mayor is just learning about the events that happened this afternoon and has no more information than the rest of the community,” said Justin Roj, Rochester communications director, in a statement Wednesday evening.
“She hopes to learn more details tonight and will make a statement tomorrow.”
Warren, charged with campaign finance fraud, is also accused of lying to the public about the 2020 death of Daniel Prude, who was suffocated by police officers.
