SI swimsuit model Camille Kostek says breaking up with Rob Gronkowski is keeping things “hot and heavy”.

Camille Kostek knows the secret of keeping things “hot and heavy” with Rob Gronkowski.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and NFL star have been dating since 2015. And despite their high profile career, the star said they found a way to keep that romantic spark going.

“I think Rob and I are a little different in the sense that we have such demanding careers that force us to be separated,” said the 29-year-old on the episode of “Betches U Up?” Podcast.

“We can keep it hot and heavy just because we’re apart,” said the former Patriot cheerleader. “If you want to have your time alone, take it. Have it. It’s super attractive. This ‘make me’ mentality is so attractive to both sides and makes the time together just a little bit better. I feel like my best side and my truest me when I’m alone. “

“It’s okay to have time alone,” advised the star. “You don’t always have to be together.”

While Gronkowski has had a successful career on the football field, Kostek has caused a sensation as a sought-after model. She originally won the SI Swimsuit Model Search and was named an SI Swimsuit Rookie in 2018. In 2019 she appeared on the cover.

“The beginning of my love story is not the classic that we put in the DMS or dating apps,” Kostek explained to the outlet. “”[I’m] I am very happy that we actually met to do community service together. I had just come out of a four year relationship … I was a former cheerleader and I said to my trainer, “Look … I want to sign up for any community service. That’s the only thing that makes me feel better now. ‘”

“I signed up – it was the night before Thanksgiving and we put together some turkey baskets for the less fortunate,” Kostek continued. “I was one of the cheerleaders that signed up and Rob was one of the soccer players that signed up. I made eye contact with him a couple of times and thought nothing of it … it’s been eight years now, we first did started hanging out. “

Kostek noted that as a cheerleader, she was not allowed to approach Gronkowski. That didn’t stop Gronkowski from getting his shot in a creative way, however.

“”[Football player] Jermaine Wiggins gave [his number] for me, “Kostek recalled.” So Rob didn’t even come up to me. I did not approach him because you are not allowed to do that. I was a newbie to the rules. Rob said, “Go ask for a poster and have it [Camille] write her number on it for me. ‘ [Rob] was like, ‘Look, this is for a friend of mine. Can you sign it ‘I say, “Yes, this is my job.” He said, “Okay, can you put your number on the back? It’s for Gronk. It’s for Rob. ‘”

“I said, ‘Oh, I can’t do that, I’m so sorry,” said Kostek. “He said, ‘OK, [Rob] I felt like you were a good pair of shoes and you followed the rules. ‘So he pulled out that crumpled nameplate and it said’ shhh ‘on the back with his phone number. And I just held on to it until I was ready to call him. He knew I was a rule chaser, I love it. “

Earlier this month, Kostek spoke to Fox News about its appearance in the upcoming SI-Swimsuit issue, which is expected to appear in July.

“I’m just as excited to show up on this set and shoot for this magazine as I did as a rookie,” said Kostek. “It’s one of the most honorable things I do. It goes beyond just posing for the magazine. The women behind the brand, the models within the brand, they’re people like I’ve never met before. Everyone shares just such a light and love for really wanting to make waves in this industry and I didn’t get my big yes until Sports Illustrated. “
