“Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino welcomes son and wife Lauren


Mike Sorrentino is into baby bliss.

38-year-old Jersey Shore alum known as The Situation has welcomed a boy with his wife, Lauren Pesce. The newborn is their first child.

Sorrentino shared the good news on Instagram Thursday night, along with several photos from the hospital where Lauren was born.

In the photos, the happy couple snuggled up to their newest family member and smiled from ear to ear.

“Romeo Reign Sorrentino,” the star wrote in the caption, revealing his son’s name.

Sorrentino and Pesce, 36, featured their trip to start a family in the reunion series “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” which featured an episode of the duo meeting with a fertility doctor, according to page 6 of the New York Post.

They announced that they had expected an elaborate Instagram post on Christmas in November.

In the photo, the happy couple snuggled behind their kitchen island, which was covered with flour with the words “BABY SORRENTINO MAY 2021”.

“We have a baby situation,” says the star’s caption, which also featured a pregnant woman emoji.

The following month, in another humorous post, they revealed that they were expecting a boy.

“Gym Tan We have a little boy,” Sorrentino wrote alongside several photos of himself and Lauren standing in front of a blue-themed Christmas tree.

Little Romeo already has his own Instagram account called Baby Situation.

In December, Sorrentino announced on Page 6 that his ultimate Christmas wish is to welcome a “healthy boy expected in May 2021”.

Pesce’s pregnancy is expected to be at least partially recorded in the upcoming fifth season of “Family Vacation”.

The new mother tragically miscarried in November 2019 after celebrating her first wedding anniversary with Sorrentino.
