Army veteran Jeremy Hunt sounds at the “guard push” in the military: “Very worrying”


Army veteran and West Point graduate Jeremy Hunt spoke about the “guard ideology” infecting the US military. What the military needs, he said, are people who “shut up” and defend themselves against left-wing politics. He also responded to Rep. Dan Crenshaw‘s, R-Texas and Sen. Tom cotton‘s R-Ark., a new whistleblower form for service members to prevent them from “falling” into the waking culture.

AINSLEY EARHARDT: Jeremy, give us your main thoughts on Congressman Crenshaw’s tweet, and that has roused the military as a whole.

JEREMY HUNT: Overall, I applaud Sen. Cotton and Rep. Crenshaw for speaking out against what’s going on in the military. I mean, if you want to support the troops now, we need people who refuse to shut up the concerns of those on duty.

Because the problem is, of course, as we saw a few weeks ago, many active people fear that they may lose their job, and so providing a path – an anonymous path – for people can actually share what is going on, and in a way that hopefully can lead to change. On the other hand, this is very worrying.
