Ana Navarro, co-host of “The View” and CNN commentator, called Jeffrey Toobin’s return interview for CNN on Monday “embarrassing” and “humiliating” after taking an extended leave of absence after exposing himself on a Zoom call.
Navarro said if she was the one caught masturbating on a Zoom call, she’d rather sell avocados on I-95 in Miami than get her TV job back like Toobin did.

“You know, actually I’m not surprised he’s back on the air,” Navarro said after co-host Whoopi Goldberg asked her if CNN is bringing its senior legal analyst back.
“I’ll tell you when I saw this interview – oh god, how embarrassing, how humiliating. I kept thinking to myself if I need to go on live TV and explain to the nation why I masturbated on a Zoom call. I’d rather sell avocados off I-95 than get my job on TV again, “she said.
Toobin reappeared on CNN Thursday with host Alisyn Camerota, who interviewed him in detail about the incident that led to his firing by his other employer, The New Yorker. In the interview, he thanked CNN for not firing him.

Navarro defended him, pointing out that the Zoom call was with his colleagues from the New Yorker, not the network.
“I think some cases of sexual harassment are black and white. Some cases are more nuanced. In this case, he has not sexually molested anyone. He had no intention of molesting anyone sexually. He may have molested himself, OK? “She said,“ It wasn’t a CNN Zoom call. It was with The New Yorker that he was fired from and faced consequences. “
“I also think CNN is a for-profit business. If the viewers don’t like it, they should share their views, ”she added. “I think his bigger problem is honestly with himself, with his family, with his wife than with his CNN colleagues.”

Some CNN presenters and anchors were pushing behind the scenes for Toobin’s return, Fox News has learned. The reliable liberal analyst has been with CNN since 2002.
The network has come under fire for arresting Toobin and left anchor Chris Cuomo after admitting that he privately advised his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, D., on his allegations of sexual harassment.
