Late Night sends ‘Space Cowboy’ Jeff Bezos

Welcome to Best of Late Night, an overview of the highlights from the previous night that will keep you sleeping – and keep us paid to watch comedy. Here are the The 50 best movies on Netflix right now.

Late night hosts had fun with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ short trip into space on Tuesday. Stephen Colbert greeted his audience with the words: “So happy that you all had a momentous day with us tonight in the history of some people who have way too much money.”

Colbert noted that despite the amount of coverage of the event, it wasn’t too newsworthy.

“So I know it doesn’t matter – I hosted the last of these, OK? For Branson, ”said Colbert, referring to billionaire Richard Branson who made his own trip to the edge of space last week. “Have fun, but talk show hosts don’t anchor historical events – except, of course, when Arsenio Hall interviewed the Berlin Wall.”

The hosts couldn’t resist talking about what Bezos wore when he returned – a cowboy hat.
