With the reopening after the coronavirus, income is more important than the party

What is behind this income gap? Put simply, low-income workers have fewer opportunities to stay at home.

Low-wage workers were six times less likely to work from home, research shows. While lower-income people are generally at a higher risk of contracting Covid-19, they also thought they were more likely to run out of money due to the pandemic.

One study found that key workers who did jobs like grocery stores and clerks in pharmacies and convenience stores were more likely to have household incomes less than $ 40,000 than other workers who could do their jobs from home.
