Democracy would have collapsed on Thursday if the Washington Post slogan had been taken literally.
The Biden government on Wednesday admitted it made a mistake when its guidelines for reopening the school sponsored a manual by a radical activist group advocating for educators to “disrupt whiteness and other forms of oppression,” but everyone who relies on the Washington Post, whose mantra is “Democracy dies in the dark” or the New York Times (“All The News That’s Fit to Print”) for news, would have no idea.
“IT WAS A MISTAKE” TO PROMOTE THE CRT GROUP, SAYS BIDEN ADMIN AFTER FOX NEWS REPORT
Both liberal newspapers ignored the bombing story that led the Biden government to admit a slip up.
Fox News first published a story highlighting the Abolitionist Teaching Network’s inclusion in a Department of Education manual designed to help public schools reopen after the COVID-19 pandemic and to spend the funds raised through the American Rescue Plan. The article also highlighted radical rhetoric that fueled the network and its board members, consistent with the teachings of critical racial theory.
Hours later, the Biden government said it was a mistake to promote a radical group.
“The ministry does not endorse the recommendations of this group, nor do they reflect our political positions. It was a mistake in a long document to include this quote, ”a spokesman told Fox News.
The Post and Times also did not address the Department of Education’s admission of mistakes.
HELEN RALEIGH SAYS CRITICAL RACE THEORY IS ‘MARXIST IDEOLOGY’, HARMFUL TO THE ASIAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY
The Washington Post and New York Times did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The Abolitionist Teaching Network material, including the Department of Education sponsored guide, contains language that is often associated with critical racial theory, although the term itself is not used.
Author and independent journalist Helen Raleigh, a staunch opponent of critical racial theory, believes corporate media and Democrats are working together to strengthen their shared agenda.

“You’re just going to want to reinforce one type of ideology,” Raleigh told Fox News. “The New York Times is a great example, isn’t it?”
Raleigh believes the Times has slowly moved from being on record to being a publication promoting the “watch ideology” and ignoring negative news about the Biden administration is the latest step in the development of the newspaper.
“The New York Times is basically run by young activists on the left who are basically taking orders from the tweeters,” Raleigh said.
