Marco Rubio defends Cuba’s struggle against failed socialist government: leaders are “bad”, “incompetent”

Cuba’s struggle against its tyrannical government wages continues, with Senator Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Defending demonstrators at Hannity, explaining why the country’s system has failed so badly.

“Socialism doesn’t work. Marxism doesn’t work,” he said. “Marxism has to do with power – and nothing to do with prosperity. It’s about controlling people. A Marxist system wants to keep people poor because poor people are easier to control.”

Rubio collapsed that Cuba’s government as tyranny generally encourages incompetence in leadership, and outlined its pattern of dishonesty.

RUBIO COMPETITIONS CLAIM US EMBARGO DESTABILIZED CUBA, SAY ONLY ‘BLOCKADE’ IS ITS GOVERNMENT

“The leaders of Cuba are not only evil, they are incompetent people,” he said. “Because you’re not getting promoted, because you’re smart. You are promoted because you are loyal, because you are compliant, because you give in. “

Cuban citizens have recognized the difference in the lives of their American relatives compared to their own restricted lifestyles, Rubio said, including the high level of representation of Cubans in distinguished roles.

“They were presidents and CEOs of big companies, presidents of universities,” he said. “You were ambassadors, members of the Cabinet. Successful in all areas – entertainment, art. They even represent 3% of the US Senate, even though we make up half of 1% of the US population. “

Rubio viewed the Cuban people as “hostages” in their own homes, while President Biden’s lifting of the trade embargo arguably does not help in the fight for freedom.

The Senator described how wire transfers are sent to banks in Panama, where 10% is cut off the top and converted into Cuban currency, which is practically “worthless”, while the government keeps the dollars.

“It’s a plan and they’re trapping us right away,” he said. “The two people in charge of Cuban politics in the Biden administration now want to open everything … So of course this politics is schizophrenic. Those responsible for this are sympathizers. “
